INFORMATION

Contrary to popular opinion, I did not close this site because of trouble between members; the issue is more closely related to concerns within the moderation team and the frustrations of trying to work out a fair system.

As a result of the feedback I received, I have decided that I am going to give Screamingwhisper a break ... I appreciate all the comments and apologise to people this may upset ... but considering the amount of effort involved running the place, the personality clashes and the fact that we are currently very quiet, I simply cannot dedicate the amount of time needed to keep the place going; the effort is disproportionate to the fun.

HOWEVER.

Screamingwhisper is only closing for the summer; I plan to bring the site back around September (maybe sooner) - This will give us all plenty of time to refresh ourselves, and hopefully the break will be just what we need to get things back to how they used to be.

In the coming months the software will get upgraded again, features that don't work will be fixed and the database will be kept nice and secure - Like I said, I am sorry to the people who feel that I am letting them down, but it's more about looking after myself rather than landing anyone in it. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the internet, have a great summer, and I shall see you all soon. :-)
